Washington has added a key piece to its secondary for the 2024 season as new head coach Jedd Fisch pulled a player with him from Arizona via the transfer portal.

On Saturday, Ephesians Prysock announced his official transfer commitment to the Huskies, following Fisch to Washington. Prysock was an immediate contributor as a 4-star prospect in the 2022 recruiting class, and he developed into an impact performer during the 2023 season.

“Tucson, I will always and forever love you from the bottom of my heart,” Prysock wrote on social media. “You guys made Tucson a place that I will always have love for while I’m in it but now… respect my decision.”

During the 2023 season, Prysock finished 3rd on the Wildcats with 7 pass breakups and 4th with 39 solo tackles. He also had an interception and 61 total tackles.

Prysock is the latest in a string of key pieces for Fisch at Washington since the new head coach of the Huskies impressed the players during a recent team meeting. Since then, Fisch has seen quarterback Will Rogers withdraw from the portal and a duo of 2024 signees elect to remain with the program in QB Dermaricus Davis and linebacker Khmori House.
