Jordan Burch wasn’t satisfied after his 1st season at Oregon and wants to come back for 1 more.

The South Carolina transfer finished up the 2023 campaign with 34 total tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss, and 3 sacks. He broke the news with an Instagram post on Saturday. Oregon saw action from Burch in every game this season, including the recent 45-6 win over Liberty in the Fiesta Bowl.

Burch was a former 5-star defensive tackle in the 2020 class out of Columbia (S.C.) Hammond. The 247Sports Composite ranked him as the No. 2 DT and No. 1 prospect in the state of South Carolina. The Ducks were the only Pac-12 offer Burch had out of high school.

Dan Lanning led Oregon to a 12-2 record this season after a 2nd consecutive bowl win for the program. Last season, the Ducks qualified for the Holiday Bowl and beat North Carolina 28-27.

Oregon has had a number of players announce their return for 2024 recently. Tez Johnson, Jeffrey Bassa, Traeshon Holden, and Noah Whittington are all coming back for another go next season.
