Tez Johnson is running things back with Oregon football for at least another season.

The Troy transfer was one of Bo Nix’s favorite targets, leading the Ducks with 86 receptions this season. Johnson was also 2nd on the team with 1,182 receiving yards behind Troy Franklin (1,383). Johnson played in all 14 games this season.

Oregon wasn’t able to capture a Pac-12 title this season, but still finished the year with 12 wins and another bowl victory. The Ducks beat Liberty 45-6 in the Fiesta Bowl to cap off the 2023 campaign.

Johnson was the 2nd Duck to announce his plans for 2024 in the last few days. Jeffery Bassa revealed that he’s planning on being back for next season as well as of Wednesday. Bassa finished 2nd on the team in total tackles this season.

In 1 season in Eugene, Johnson was able to achieve receiving numbers that he wasn’t able to in any of his 3 years with the Trojans. It looks like the wideout isn’t done just yet.
