Sunseri played for the Crimson Tide from 2011-13, contributing to a pair of national title-winning teams in 2011 and 2012. He finished his time at Alabama with 105 career tackles and 4 interceptions before spending 3 seasons in the NFL.
Sunseri initially joined the Patriots as a defensive assistant in 2020. However, he has spent the past 3 seasons as the running backs coach for New England.
Now, he will look to help revamp the Huskies with Jedd Fisch adding some key pieces from the NFL ranks. According to Monday morning reports, Washington is adding former Patriots assistant Steve Belichick to serve as the new defensive coordinator under Fisch.
