Ratumana Bulabalavu will play in the Big Ten after all.

The defensive lineman from Carlsbad, California signed with the Washington in December, but reopened his recruitment following Huskies coach Kalen DeBoer’s departure for Alabama. On Tuesday, National Signing Day eve, Bulabalavu publicly pledged to USC.

The big news was announced on social media.

“Very blessed to announce my commitment to the University of Southern California!” Bulabalavu wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

Out of the Carlsbad (California) Army And Navy Academy, Bulabalavu is listed as measuring 6-4, 260 pounds. On the 247Sports Composite, Bulabalavu is rated 3-stars, the No. 51 player in the state of California, No. 85 defensive lineman and No. 746 prospect overall in the Class of 2024.

Lincoln Riley’s staff has 19 high school prospects inked from December’s Early Signing Period. USC has also added 11 players out of the transfer portal to the roster.

Bulabalavu will have the opportunity to officially join the program on Wednesday, National Signing Day for the 2024 recruiting class. Isaiah Rubin remains listed as an unsigned verbal pledge for 2024, though he spoke of signing with the program in December.
