Oregon has put the finishing touches on the 2024 recruiting class, and the Ducks wrapped up the cycle with a bang.

Late in the process, Oregon received a commitment from elite receiver Gatlin Bair out of Burley High School in Idaho. Bair is rated a 5-star prospect by some services and is regarded as the fastest prospect in the cycle.

On Wednesday, the Ducks officially confirmed Bair has signed his National Letter of Intent with Dan Lanning’s program. He solidifies Oregon’s recruiting class which checks in at No. 3 nationally per the 247 Sports Team Composite.

Listed at 6-foot-2 and 195 pounds, Bair’s athletic ability jumps off the charts with a state record 10.15 time in the 100-meter. He also holds an Idaho state record in the 200-meter (20.56).

Pere the 247 Sports Composite, Bair is a 4-star recruit and the 10th WR in the country for the class of 2024. He’s also the top recruit out of Idaho.

Impact for Oregon

The impact on Oregon’s 2024 recruiting class is evident. Bair checks in as the No. 43 overall player in the 247 Sports Composite, and he is the highest-rated signee for the Ducks in the cycle.

Edge Elijah Rushing (No. 45 overall), cornerback Ify Obidegwu (No. 52), defensive lineman Aydin Breland (No. 58), safety Aaron Flowers (No. 60) and receiver Jeremiah McClellan (No. 65) are fellow Oregon signees ranked in the top-75 players in the country.

However, Bair’s overall impact on the Ducks will not be felt for quite some time. He is expected to embark on an LDS mission this winter and will not enroll until the 2026 season.
