Oregon offensive coordinator Kenny Dillingham is a Broyles Award semifinalist in his first season with the Ducks. And, given recent coaching carousel rumors, it seems there’s a chance the 2022 campaign is his only season with the Ducks.

Regardless, the impact has been felt.

“He’s done a great job in a leadership role, obviously there for the entire offense,” coach Dan Lanning said this week of his coordinator. “And I think Kenny will be the first one to tell you when you get those awards, that’s really a credit to everybody on that side of the ball, every one of those players, every one of those coaches. But Kenny does a phenomenal job day in and day out and preparing his side, really collaborating with his coaches, he would tell you, it’s a group effort.”

Dillingham has reportedly had discussions with “power-brokers” at Arizona State about its vacant head coaching job as the Ducks wind down the 2022 season.

In the meantime, the Ducks are looking to secure a fourth consecutive trip to the Pac-12 Championship Game with a win over Oregon State on Saturday.

They’re in this position thanks in large part to Dillingham’s work with the offense.

With Lanning coming over as the program’s head coach and possessing the defensive background, the offense has been Dillingham’s to drive. And, so far, it has thrived. The Ducks are 9-2 this year and powered by an offense that ranks sixth nationally in yards per play and fourth nationally in points per game.

Kickoff on Saturday between the Ducks and Beavers is set for 12:30 p.m. PT on ABC.
