DJ Rodman will return to Washington State for his 5th season of eligibility in 2023-24.
Rodman made that announcement during his senior day speech on Sunday night. He’s currently in the midst of his 4th season with the Cougars and is averaging a career-high 9.3 points per game.

Rodman’s return is big news for Washington State. He’s also averaging 5.6 rebounds per game and is one of the team’s best 3-point shooters at 38.7%.
Washington State is 12-15 on the season and doesn’t appear to be headed to the NCAA Tournament. However, they rank a respectable No. 62 nationally according to KenPom. The Cougars could have Big Dance aspirations next season depending on how Smith is able to build the roster around Rodman.
Washington State has not made the NCAA Tournament since 2007-08.
