Washington will face Texas in the 2 vs. 3 matchup in the College Football Playoff semifinal. That game is slated to take place at the Allstate Sugar Bowl on Jan. 1 at 5:45 p.m. PT on ESPN.

Texas has opened as a 4.5-point favorite in the game, according to DraftKings. The point total was set at 62.5.

Washington is 13-0 after winning the Pac-12 Championship. The Huskies beat the Oregon Ducks twice — once at home during the regular season and then again last Friday in the Pac-12 title game.

Texas is 12-1. The Longhorns won the Big 12 Championship on Saturday with a 49-21 win over Oklahoma State. Texas’ most notable win this season came in Week 2 in Tuscaloosa, when it beat Alabama 34-24.

These two teams met last season in the Alamo Bowl, with Washington defeating Texas 27-20.

Washington is 6-6-1 against the spread this season. The under has hit seven times.

The Huskies have been an underdog only two other times this season. They were a one-point dog at Oregon State on Nov. 18 and won by two. Then they were a 10-point dog in the Pac-12 title game.

Texas is 7-5-1 against the spread. The under has hit in eight of the Longhorns’ 13 games.
