Washington stays hot on the trail, secures commitment from local 3-star OL
The Huskies are hot on the recruiting trail, and they show no signs of slowing down.
On Wednesday, 3-star Ferndale (Wash.) offensive lineman Landen Hatchett announced he’ll begin his collegiate career in Seattle. Hatchett picked the Huskies over interest from Oregon, Michigan, USC, and Texas A&M, among others.

The 6-foot-3, 292-pound Hatchett might rank as just a 3-star in the industry-generated 247 Composite—51st-ranked interior offensive lineman, 736th-ranked overall prospect—but the list of Power Five programs after his signature was long and stocked.
He had more than a dozen offers, including from schools in each of the Power Five conferences and from blue bloods like Miami, Oklahoma, USC, and Michigan. He also had interest from seven other Pac-12 programs outside of UW.
He gives the Huskies their second in-state commit for the 2023 cycle and their 13th known commitment overall. The class currently ranks in the top 25 nationally. You can view Hatchett’s highlight tape below, via Hudl:
