Washington fan drills field goal on College GameDay for $30K
Every Saturday, ESPN’s College GameDay and Pat McAfee let a fan in attendance at the live pregame show attempt a 33-yard field goal to win money.
For Week 7, the show was in Seattle ahead of a top-10 showdown between Washington and Oregon. A Washington student named Greyson got to attempt a field goal for $60,000.
That kick was … no good. But it had the distance.
Washington fans chanted “one more kick!” and eventually, McAfee relented, offering Greyson a chance to kick again for $30,000.
This time, Greyson drilled the kick, leading to a celebration with McAfee and Kirk Herbstreit:
"ONE MORE KICK! ONE MORE KICK!"

No, it wasn’t the full $60K, but that $30K paycheck will go a long way for a student like Greyson.
We’ll see if next week’s attempt also sails through the uprights or if we go back to showing just how tough kicking really is.
The race is on to see which fan will be the first kicker to make it on his or her first attempt.
