Jake Browning, former Washington QB, elevated to Cincinnati Bengals active roster
Jake Browning, a former Washington Huskies quarterback has been elevated to the active roster from the practice squad for the Cincinnati Bengals. Because of this, Browning will be listed as a backup to Joe Burrow for the AFC Championship game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Cincinnati is looking to make it back to the Super Bowl for the 2nd straight season with a win over the Chiefs, who they beat last year in the AFC Championship game.

This is Browning’s first season with the Bengals after a stint on Minnesota’s practice squad in 2019. The undrafted backup has yet to attempt a pass in the regular season for Cincinnati.
At Washington, Browning totaled 12,296 passing yards, 94 touchdowns and 34 interceptions across 4 seasons.
