A meeting of what could very well be the best two teams in the conference on Oct. 15 could also serve as a Pac-12 championship preview. USC comes to Salt Lake City to face the Utes, hoping to avenge what was a 42-26 loss in Los Angeles last season.

Utah will be looking to prove the reigning champs are still the team to beat in the West.

And yet in spite of the Utes’ status as defending champions and the fact the matchup will be played in Salt Lake City, where Utah has won eight straight, it was the Trojans who opened as a three-point favorite, per FanDuel.

That was before USC added wideout Jordan Addison.

But it would seem that money has come pouring in on Utah because, as of Friday, the line has completely flipped. The Utes are now a two-point favorite in the matchup.

We talked about the Utes in 2022 on the Saturday Down South YouTube page recently, breaking down the projected win total and why Utah might be able to surpass expectations.
