Jonah Elliss has played his last game for Utah.

The star pass rusher announced on Tuesday afternoon that he intends to enter the 2024 NFL Draft. Elliss was one of the top pass rushers in all of college football in 2023.

“To my teammates, the muss, and our fans, thank you so much for supporting me,” Elliss wrote in-part. “This experience has been life changing and something that I will cherish forever. With that being said, I’ve decided to declare for the 2024 NFL Draft.”

Elliss recorded 16 tackles for loss and 12 sacks this season. Although he considered returning to Utah for another season, he ultimately decided to forego the remainder of his eligibility.

Elliss was a huge part of Utah’s defense over the past couple of seasons. He initially joined the Utes as a 3-star recruit out of Idaho in the class of 2021. He spent 3 years with the program before deciding to turn pro.
