On Wednesday, the USC women’s basketball team opens play at the Pac-12 Tournament in Las Vegas against UCLA. The Trojans, 12-15 this season, earned a 10 seed in the conference tourney and a date with their crosstown rivals on Day 1.

On Monday, ahead of the team’s departure for Vegas, new USC quarterback Caleb Williams surprised the entire team with new Beats headphones as a “good luck” gift, according to The Los Angeles Times’ Ryan Kartje.

Beats By Dre was Williams’ first announced partnership after enrolling at USC. The brand announced the pairing on Feb. 4. Since transferring from Oklahoma to Southern Cal, Williams has inked NIL deals with partners like Fanatics, a grooming brand called Faculty, and a Beverly Hills-based real estate private equity fund, among others.

Kartje also wrote that Williams intends to make a habit out of sharing the wealth with his USC teammates when it comes to NIL earnings.
