USC stores the No. 10 jersey in the rafters at the Galen Center, but it will come down for one season for former Washington State forward DJ Rodman.

In 2020, the Trojans retired DeMar DeRozan’s No. 10 jersey in a special ceremony, making him the seventh player in program history to receive the honor. The program shared on Thursday that DeRozan had given Rodman his blessing to wear No. 10 during the upcoming 2023-24 season — Rodman’s first and only campaign with the Trojans.

Rodman is the son of NBA legend and champion Dennis Rodman. Before he was winning titles with the Chicago Bulls, Dennis Rodman was wearing the No. 10 jersey for the Detroit Pistons from 1987-93. He also wore No. 10 during his two seasons with the San Antonio Spurs before being traded to the Bulls.

DJ Rodman wore No. 11 during his four seasons at Washington State. He transferred to USC back in May.
