USC expected to land pledge from former Mississippi State RB
Jo’Quavious “Woody” Marks is reportedly set to transfer to the Big Ten.
The former Mississippi State running back entered the transfer portal on December 10 after 4 seasons in Starkville. Now, according to a report from On3Sports’ Matt Zenitz, Marks is set to transfer to USC to play under HC Lincoln Riley.

As you can see above, Marks definitely left his mark on Mississippi State. Marks finished this past season with 573 rushing yards on 121 carries, scoring 4 touchdowns. He was a threat in the passing game as well, totaling 23 receptions for 167 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Marks is the 7th Mississippi State transfer portal entry to (reportedly)announce his destination, joining the likes of Decamerion Richardson (Ole Miss) and Will Rogers (Washington) to name a few.
That’s a nice addition for the Trojans, who have added and lost a lot to the transfer portal. In addition to Marks, USC has added former Oregon State defenders Akili Arnold and Easton Mascarenas-Arnold, former Vanderbilt DL Nate Clifton and former Michigan State LS Hank Pepper.
