Caleb Williams put together an incredible season for USC in his first year with the Trojans since coming over from Oklahoma along with coach Lincoln Riley this offseason.

Williams finished the regular season with 37 touchdown passes, tied with Ohio State’s CJ Stroud (another Heisman finalist) and Houston’s Clayton Tune for the most TD passes among FBS quarterbacks.

He had the fewest interceptions of that trio, with only 4. Stroud threw 6 picks and Tune had 10.

Williams also ran for 372 yards and 10 touchdowns on the season.

On Saturday night in New York City, Williams was awarded the Heisman Trophy after he beat out Stroud, TCU QB Max Duggan and Georgia QB Stetson Bennett for the prestigious trophy.

Of course, the other 3 quarterbacks will be competing in the College Football Playoff, but Williams has the Heisman Trophy to add to his impressive trophy case.

Earlier this year, in a win over Notre Dame, Williams struck the Heisman pose in the midst of a big first-half performance:

Williams becomes the seventh USC player to win the Heisman Trophy, joining QB Carson Palmer, QB Matt Leinart, RB Reggie Bush (who, of course, had to return his trophy due to NCAA eligibility issues), RB Charles White, RB Mike Garrett, RB OJ Simpson and RB Marcus Allen.
