UCLA’s leading rusher is off to the NFL.

Steele will be remembered for big games against Washington State and Oregon State, where he had a combined 251 rushing yards. He also had 3 touchdowns against Stanford. He led the Bruins with 847 yards and 6 touchdowns overall.

Before UCLA, the Steele played with Ball State in 2021 and 2022, and in 3 seasons, collected 648 carries for 3,294 yards and 26 touchdowns. He also caught 58 passes for 486 receiving yards and 4 touchdowns.

He shared the plans on social media:

“First of all, I would like to thank the Lord for everything He has ever done for me and everything He has planned for my future,” Steele wrote. “Ever since I was little, I’ve tried to push myself harder and harder every day. The way I’ve done that is by surrounding myself with the people who do the same and love me for who I am…”
