Williams opted to leave Oregon after 2 seasons with the Ducks. Out of Clovis (California), Williams was a blue-chip prospect in the 2021 recruiting class. Williams was rated 4-stars, the No. 27 California product, No. 40 defensive lineman and No. 312 prospect overall nationally on the 247Sports Composite. He signed with the Ducks over 21 other scholarship offers.
In 2021, his first season on campus, Williams played in just 4 games so that he could redshirt. Williams had 3 tackles that season. As a redshirt freshman, Williams made 6 appearances, recording 2 tackles and a pass breakup in the 2022 campaign.
Having used a redshirt, Williams has 3 full seasons of eligibility remaining. UCLA and Oregon are not scheduled to meet in the 2023 regular season.
