Isaiah Patterson, elite LB out of Washington, announces Pac-12 commitment
Isaiah Patterson, a 6-foot-3 and 235-pound 3-star linebacker out of Yelm, Washington, has announced a commitment to play in the Pac-12.
In a video shared to social media, Patterson committed to UCLA. In an emotional message, Patterson shared how he grew up in a fatherless home, had to bounce houses and couch surf.
“If you knew the whole story, you would know how much this truly means to me,” Patterson said.
He is ranked the No. 76 linebacker in the country, according to the 247Sports Composite, and the No. 11 player in the state of Washington.
“I told you I was gon do it grandma!!,” he wrote.
Patterson is the second prospect from Washington in the last week to commit to UCLA after Tacoma (Wash.) Mount Tahoma offensive lineman Marquise Thorpe-Taylor.
