Tommy Troy is heading to Phoenix!

Troy, the first Pac-12 player selected in the 2023 MLB Draft, was taken No. 12 overall by the Arizona Diamondbacks.

troy has played in 3 straight College World Series with the Cardinal and was a huge part of Stanford’s success each year. The infielder is perhaps one of the most well-rounded prospects in the class.

Last season, Troy hit .394 with 17 home runs and 58 RBI alongside 98 total hits, including 17 doubles. As mentioned, his bat-to-ball skills are what makes him a truly special get for the D-Backs.

Troy played all over the diamond in college but is perhaps best at shortstop or third base.
