The Pac-12 was well-represented on The Sporting News’ 2022-23 All-America teams, which were released on Tuesday morning.

UCLA’s Jaime Jaquez and Arizona’s Azuolas Tubelis each earned 2nd team All-America honors. No other Pac-12 players were named to the 1st or 2nd team.

Jaquez is the leader of a UCLA team that won the Pac-12 regular season title and could earn a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament. The senior is averaging 17.5 points and 8 rebounds per game this season.

Tubelis is in his 3rd season with the Wildcats. He’s averaging 19.9 points per game so far this season, which is easily a career high. He’s also averaging career-highs in field goal percentage, 3-point percentage, free throw percentage and rebounds.

These 2 players are expected to be amongst the best at the Pac-12 Tournament this week. It’s possible UCLA and Arizona could meet in the championship game. They split the season series during the regular season.

The Sporting News is 1 of 4 official publications that is used to determine consensus All-America status.
