Pac-12 Baseball Tournament: Details on schedule, format and TV info
The bracket for the inaugural 2022 Pac-12 Baseball Tournament is set with Stanford claiming the No. 1 seed and locking up the regular-season title with a 12-5 win over USC on Saturday.
The tournament gets under way on Wednesday, May 25, in Scottsdale.
Stanford, ranked No. 4 in the country by the USA Today Coaches Poll, finished the regular season by winning their final 12 games. It’s the first Pac-12 regular-season title for the Cardinal since 2018.
Oregon State claimed the No. 2 seed after a 9-3 win over 23rd-ranked UCLA. After Bruin wins in the first two games of the series, Saturday was a matchup to determine the 2- and 3-seeds in the league tournament.
Oregon swept a three-game series with Arizona in Eugene over the weekend to claim the 4-seed, setting up a rematch in the opening game of the Pac-12 Tournament with 5-seed Arizona.
California will be the 6-seed after sweeping Utah over the weekend. Washington (7-seed) and Arizona State (8-seed) round out the rest of the field.
TV Info:
Every game of the tournament will be televised. Games through Saturday will be carried on the Pac-12 Networks. On Sunday, the first-ever Pac-12 Tournament championship game will air on ESPN2 at 7 p.m. PT.
