The college football schedule for the 2023 season officially kicks off in August! After the long offseason of storylines and debates, the time to hit the field for official games is right around the corner.

Tuesday officially flips the calendar from July to August 1, and that means the first FBS games of the season are just over 3 weeks away. A number of games will be played in Week 0, and the first games of Week 1 will also be played before we get to September.

Seven FBS games will be played in Week 0 with Navy vs. Notre Dame providing one of the highlights of the week. That game will be played in Ireland.

Vanderbilt and USC will also be the first Power 5 programs to suit up this season with primetime games in Week 0. Week 1 will also get started with 11 games on Thursday, Aug. 31 including a Big Ten showdown between Nebraska and Minnesota and the anticipated rematch between Florida and Utah.
