2023 NCAA Tournament: ESPN's Joe Lunardi includes 3 Pac-12 squads, 1 on the bubble
The 2023 NCAA Tournament begins next month, and March Madness will be an intriguing time for a few Pac-12 teams.
Arizona and UCLA are clearly the class of the league and will be seeded appropriately come tourney time, but how many other teams out west can crack the field of 68?
ESPN bracketology expert Joe Lunardi released his latest tournament projections on Tuesday, and only 3 Pac-12 teams made the cut. Arizona moved up to the 1-seed line, while UCLA is a 2-seed in these latest predictions:
- Arizona — No. 1 seed (West)
- UCLA — No. 2 seed (South)
- USC — No. 10 seed (West)
- Oregon — First Four Out
Can Oregon move into the field? Can USC hold onto its tenuous spot in the bracket? Those questions will be answered over the next few weeks.
Utah (16-9 overall, 9-5 in Pac-12 play) and Arizona State (16-8, 7-6) are the only other Pac-12 teams with winning records in conference play. Can either of them make a late push toward the Big Dance?
