Oregon State wide receiver Champ Flemings enters the transfer portal
After making appearances in every game for the Beavers last season, fifth-year junior wideout Champ Flemings has entered the transfer portal, according to a report from 247Sports’ Carter Bahns.
A California native, Flemings had spent each of his five collegiate seasons in Corvallis with the Oregon State program and caught 61 passes over the course of his career. He’ll look to finish out his career elsewhere.

He leaves Corvallis having played in 42 career games, making 61 catches for 902 yards and four touchdowns. Flemings has also served as the Beavers' primary kickoff returner since 2018.

The 5-foot-5, 142-pounder made 42 appearances over the last four seasons after redshirting in 2017. He finishes his OSU career with 902 yards and four touchdowns, as well as 80 kickoff returns for 1,781 yards (22.3 average). Flemings had 15 receptions for 270 yards a score in 2021.
A former 3-star recruit from the 2017 class, the Los Angeles native picked Oregon State over Idaho and Utah State.
The Beavers have also lost wideout Trevon Bradford this offseason (out of eligibility), the leading receiver in 2021 with 42 catches for 631 yards and five scores. The wideout room will return Tre’Shaun Harrison (401 yards, 29 receptions), Zeriah Beason (236 yards, 20 receptions), Tyjon Lindsey (232 yards, 16 receptions), Anthony Gould (185 yards, 13 receptions), Silas Bolden (25 yards, three receptions), Makiya Tongue (one catch for 24 yards), John Dunmore (one catch for 4 yards), Jesiah Irish (four rushes for 47 yards), and freshmen Jimmy Valsin and Trevor Pope.
