Oregon State will head to Brooklyn next season to take part in the annual NIT Season Tip-Off event at the Barclays Center.

The Beavers announced Thursday they will play in the early-season showcase event held during Thanksgiving week alongside Florida, Baylor, and Pitt. Games will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 22, and Friday, Nov. 24.

The tournament bracket hasn’t yet been announced. Matchups and ticket information will be made available at a later date.

Florida was on the schedule for the Beavs last season. The Gators came to Portland for the Phil Knight Legacy Tournament and left with an 81-68 victory. That was the first meeting between the two in program history.

Neither Baylor nor Pitt will offer much familiarity either. Oregon State hasn’t faced the Bears since 1972 when they won 88-54. The two also met in 1955. The Beavs played Pitt twice in 1950 and then met again 31 years later. Oregon State won all three matchups.

Next year’s non-conference schedule is starting to take shape, and it’ll involve quite a bit of travel around Thanksgiving. In addition to the East Coast trip, Oregon State will head to Sioux Falls, South Dakota, on Nov. 18 to face Nebraska in a neutral site contest.

Oregon State went 11-21 last season.
