Oregon State lands pledge from 4-star Class of 2024 WR out of California
Oregon State went into California and landed a top-200 prospect Tuesday afternoon.
Jordan Anderson is the player in question, a 4-star wide receiver prospect out of Newport Harbor HS in Newport Harbor, California, just south of Los Angeles. He stands at 6-foot, 165 pounds and chose Oregon State over impressive offers from Oregon, Georgia, Tennessee, Michigan, Texas, Arizona, USC, Utah and Washington, to name a few.
Anderson is considered to be the No. 186 overall prospect in the country, as well as the No. 31 WR and No. 18 player out of California according to 247Sports’ composite rankings.

Anderson’s addition is a huge one for the Beavers and their highest-rated of the cycle. Previously, the Beavers’ highest-rated prospect was 3-star WR Malachi Durant.
