Jermod McCoy, Oregon State standout, makes decision on future with Beavers
Jermod McCoy entered the NCAA transfer portal Tuesday after just 1 season in Corvallis with the Beavers.
That’s a big loss of Oregon State, which has already lost DJ Uiagalelei and Jake Overman to the transfer portal this offseason. McCoy was the only OSU true freshman to play in every game this past season, and he finished as one of the Pac-12’s top freshman talents. He started 4 games for the Beavers.
McCoy finished his freshman season with 31 tackles, 7 pass deflections and 2 interceptions. He had a season-high 6 tackles against Arizona.
Now, he’s heading elsewhere for the final 3 eligible seasons of his college career.
