Alex Forsyth isn’t just a leader on the Oregon offensive line, he’s an elder statesman on the team and a leader of the entire locker room.

The West Linn native is a sixth-year senior offensive lineman for Oregon this year. He’s a key piece of the offense. A year ago, he was an All-Pac-12 second-team selection and entered his final year of college on several preseason watch lists (Outland and Rimington).

Ahead of Saturday’s top-25 showdown with BYU, Forsyth was the subject of a lengthy feature story from the Pac-12 Network. Yogi Roth spoke with Forsyth and his family about his upbringing, the tragic passing of his father in December of 2012, and growing into the man he is now.
