Martin was considered the No. 28 cornerback in the country and a 4-star recruit when he signed with the Ducks from the class of 2023. He played in all 14 games for Oregon as a true freshman, making 21 tackles and an interception. That included a season-high 5 tackles against Arizona State on Nov. 18. In the Fiesta Bowl vs. Liberty, he was credited with a tackle.
Eleven players have now entered the transfer portal for the Ducks, who have a total of 6 players coming to the program as incoming transfers in 2024 as it prepares to head to the Big Ten.
In its final year in the Pac-12, Oregon finished 12-2, including Monday’s Fiesta Bowl win over Liberty. Dan Lanning is now 22-5 at the helm of the Ducks program since taking the reins ahead of the 2022 season.
