Kirk Herbstreit revealed his top performing coaches from Week 4 on Monday, and he has Oregon head coach Dan Lanning among his picks.

The ESPN personality picked Lanning alongside Kansas State coach Chris Klieman, Minnesota coach PJ Fleck, Kansas coach Lance Leipold, Tennessee coach Josh Heupel, James Madison coach Curt Cignetti, and Notre Dame offensive coordinator Tommy Rees. All helped their teams to wins in Week 4, but perhaps no game was as exciting as Oregon’s come-from-behind win over Washington State.

The Ducks trailed 34-22 after Washington State found the endzone with 6:42 remaining in the game. Oregon scored on each of its next two possessions to take a 37-34 lead, then picked off Wazzu quarterback Cameron Ward and returned it for an interception to go up 44-34 and put the game to bed.

Lanning kept the Ducks composed throughout a frustrating game. After, he said everyone on the sideline believed they could come out on top.
