Kenny Dillingham went on the radio Friday with longtime Oregon columnist Jon Canzano to discuss the ways he has seen Bo Nix improve in his second year with Oregon.

The Arizona State head coach, who was the offensive coordinator in 2022 for Oregon, had this to say about Nix:

“I think he just continued to build on last year,” Dillingham told Canzano. “He was always confident, but I think he’s doing the same processes in terms of being in control of the offense, changing (protections), and getting into the correct plays. I think anytime you repeat a process, you are better the second time.”

Nix had a strong 2022 campaign but has gotten even better this year for the Ducks’ offense.

“I just see a more confident version of what he was last year,” Dillingham said. “And then obviously you get a lot of the wideouts back so you’ve got better timing and better communication.”

In 10 games this season Nix has led Oregon to a 9-1 record and a 6-1 record in Pac-12 play. Nix is completing an FBS-best 77.7% of his passes for 3135 yards with 29 touchdowns and only 2 interceptions. Nix has also added 121 rushing yards and 5 touchdowns on 38 carries.

Oregon heads to Tempe this Saturday to take on Arizona State at 1 p.m. PT on FOX.
