If you pick against Oregon, you better be right. If not, Dan Lanning is coming for your head.

The crew on ESPN’s College GameDay was unanimous in picking Utah this past weekend. Desmond Howard, Pat McAfee, Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit, and even the celebrity guest picker all chose Utah to go into Autzen Stadium and beat the Ducks.

“Over the last few years, it’s been a bloodbath up front,” said Herbstreit. “You have a new coach and a new attitude now with Oregon and Dan Lanning, I just, I want to see it. I want to see if Oregon can match that.”

The Ducks won 20-17, picking off Utah quarterback Cameron Rising three times and dominating the Utah front when the defense was on the field.

You already know Lanning had his fun.

This also isn’t the first time Lanning has called out the traveling pregame show for being unanimous (or close to it) and picking against the Ducks. He had a similar tweet lined up after the crew picked BYU to win at Autzen back on Sept. 17. Oregon won that game 41-20.

A loss to Washington on Nov. 12 broke a streak of 23 straight home wins for the Ducks, but they rebounded immediately. Maybe the GameDay crew will learn not to pick against Oregon at home.

Count on Lanning to continue issuing reminders until they do.
