Jordan Seaton was a Colorado commit heading into the Early Signing Period. But the IMG Academy 5-star recruit, ranked as the top offensive tackle in the country and the No. 11 player in the class of 2024 by 247Sports, didn’t sign his NLI on Wednesday — the first day of the ESP — amid heavy interest from Maryland to flip the Washington, D.C. native.

That speculation ended on Friday as the signing period cneared an end. Seaton took to social media with his final decision, announcing that he was sticking with the Buffaloes:

Offensive line was a major deficiency for Colorado during Deion Sanders’ initial season, with the Buffaloes’ front 5 yielding 56 sacks — the 2nd-highest total among FBS programs.

Seaton will be a major piece of the puzzle for the Buffs in that area, while Sanders also worked the portal to add to the unit. Kahlil Benson (Indiana), Justin Mayers (UTEP), Tyler Johnson (Houston), and Yakiri Walker (UConn) are incoming OL transfers as Colorado looks to improve on a 4-8 record. It opened the 2023 campaign with a 4-2 mark but dropped its last 6.
