Demouy Kennedy, an Alabama linebacker transfer, has announced a commitment to play in the Pac-12.

Kennedy, who entered the transfer portal about 2 weeks ago, announced on Instagram that he would play for Deion Sanders at Colorado.

Coming out of high school, Kennedy chose Alabama over Auburn and LSU. Listed at 6-2, 204 pounds, Kennedy was rated a 4-star recruit, the No. 2 Alabama product, No. 6 outside linebacker and No. 96 prospect overall nationally for the 2020 class on the 247Sports Composite.

At Alabama, the 6-foot-3, 220-pound Kennedy worked primarily on special teams in 3 seasons. He appeared in 23 games, all as a backup. He also saw limited time at running back after a rash of injuries there.

The Theodore, Alabama product in 2022 suffered a season-ending injury against Arkansas, a torn ACL, and previously appeared in 5 games prior to his injury, splitting time between defense and special teams.
