Deion Sanders has moved the needle for Colorado from a ticket standpoint.

The program announced this week that games against Colorado State (Sept. 16) and USC (Sept. 30) are sold out. With the Nebraska game and the Stanford game on Oct. 7 already sold out, the 2023 season is just the seventh in CU history where the Buffs have completely sold out four or more games. And it’s the first time since 1996.

Against the Huskers on Saturday, Colorado announced the highest attendance for a game in 15 seasons.

Sanders has completely changed the outlook for the Buffs.

Week 1 brought a 45-42 upset victory over a ranked TCU team. The win pushed Colorado into the AP Top 25 for the first time since Dec. 6 of the 2020 season — snapping a streak of 36 consecutive polls without an appearance.
