Colorado remained busy with entries into the transfer portal, as the latest players are offensive linemen Luke Eckardt, an Arizona transfer, and former Florida transfer Yousef Mugharbil, along with quarterback Drew Carter.

That leaves 25 scholarships to fill, according to Adam Munsterteiger of BuffStampede. Carter signed with the Buffaloes as a 3-star prospect in the Class of 2021 out of Portland, Oregon (Tigard), as he collected 7 offers during his recruitment. Colorado was his lone Power 5 offer. Carter completed 5 passes during the 2021 season and just one last season. The Buffaloes have seen nearly 50 players from last season’s team enter the portal, including more than 20 since Saturday’s spring game.

Colorado opens the 2023 season at TCU Sept. 2.

Deion Sanders responded to all the roster moves, as an apparent attempt to calm the outside noise about the turnover.

“Everybody wants to sit at the table & eat but ain’t Nobody wants to work to provide everything on the table including the food. I don’t believe in Luck i believe in hard work. The harder & smarter i work the more opportunities present themselves. Either u run today or today runs u. I run Today!”
