Colorado earned a commitment from ex-FSU linebacker DJ Lundy on Monday afternoon.

Lundy had a big role for Florida State in 2023 and finished third on the team with 54 tackles on the year. He joins a loaded transfer portal class at Colorado as the Buffaloes look to re-load for 2024.

Lundy’s entry into the portal this offseason was a bit of a surprise for the Noles. He spent four seasons at Florida State and was a significant contributor in each of the past three campaigns.

He finished his Florida State career with 183 tackles, 16.5 tackles for loss, 5 sacks, 1 interception and 8 pass deflections. Lundy also had a small role in goal-line situations for the Noles offensively and scored 3 rushing touchdowns during his time at FSU.

Lundy will now join a Colorado defense that will be hoping to take a big step forward next season. The Buffs started out strong in 2023 but ended up falling short of bowl eligibility.

Lundy has one season of eligibility remaining.
