Colorado lands portal commitment from grad transfer WR
Deion Sanders is rebuilding Colorado’s roster through the NCAA transfer portal. Coach Prime’s latest portal addition for the Buffaloes is a wide receiver who received all-conference recognition in the FCS ranks.
Former Northwestern State WR Javon Antonio announced Sunday that he has committed to play for Colorado. He shared the big news on his Twitter account.

Antonio arrives in Colorado as a graduate transfer with 1 remaining season of eligibility. He played 2 seasons for Hinds Community College before transferring to Northwestern State in Louisiana.
In 2022, Antonio had multiple 9-catch performances. He received Southland Conference Offensive Player of the Week honors for his standout performance against Nicholls (9 receptions, 132 yards, 2 touchdowns). Antonio finished the season with 64 catches for 684 yards and 6 touchdowns, earning him second-team Southland All-Conference recognition.
In the portal, Antonio picked up offers from Colorado, Georgia Tech, Louisiana Tech, Washington State, Boston College, BYU and others.
