Colorado lands commitment from in-state offensive lineman
The Buffaloes have landed a second commitment from within the state of Colorado.
Hank Zilinskas, a 3-star interior offensive lineman from Englewood (Colo.) Cherry Creek, announced his commitment to CU on Thursday. He chose the Buffs over Kansas State and Colorado State, among interest from others.

Zilinskas rates as the 13th-best prospect from the state of Colorado in the 2023 class. He’s the 104th-ranked interior offensive line prospect, per the industry-generated 247 Composite.
The 6-foot-3, 275-pound Zilinskas plays both sides of the football for Cherry Creek. He’s a three-time 5A state champion and was a first-team all-state selection last fall after recording 59 tackles, three tackles for loss, and a sack on defense. He had 22 tackles and five TFLs as a sophomore.
His verbal pledge gives Colorado its 16th known commitment in the 2023 class. The Buffs have moved up inside the top 40 classes nationwide in 247Sports’ class rankings.
