Colorado will host its first Big 12 conference home game since 2010 during the opening weekend of conference play. No bye weeks, no road games, no delay. Baylor comes to Folsom Field on Sept. 21 to kick off the Buffs’ return season in the Big 12.

The Big 12 unveiled its full 2024 football schedule on Tuesday, officially setting the stage for the conference’s new era. Colorado will officially join the league this summer alongside Arizona State, Arizona, and Utah. CU will face two of the three in Big 12 play, and it won’t meet the Utes on the final weekend of the regular season as was common in the Pac-12.

Instead, CU will host Utah on Nov. 16. The final weekend of the regular season will see Colorado welcome Oklahoma State to town for a matchup with a Cowboys team that has played in two of the last three Big 12 title games.

While some other schools have flex dates on their schedule and multiple games that could potentially end up on Thursday or Friday nights, Colorado saw a date officially set for every game on its schedule.

After Deion Sanders was a huge ratings draw in Year 1, the Buffs will feature on Saturday in 11 of their 12 regular-season games. The regular-season finale against the Cowboys will be played on Black Friday, Nov. 29.
