Spencer Lovell, former Cal OL, announces Big 12 commitment
Spencer Lovell announced Tuesday afternoon that he would be transferring from Cal to Kansas after 1 season in Berkeley. Lovell started the first 3 games of the season for the Golden Bears before suffering a season-ending injury.
He will have 1 season of eligibility remaining for the Jayhawks.

Lovell spent his first 4 seasons at Arizona State, playing in 27 total games his final 3 seasons. Lovell redshirted his freshman year in 2018.
That’s a strong addition for the Jayhawks given he recovers from his injury. Lovell was rated as the No. 2007 rated player in the Class of 2018, also rated as the No. 95 guard and the No. 9 player from the state of Colorado.
