Aaron Rodgers hints at potential return following Achilles tear: 'Give me a few weeks'
Aaron Rodgers tore his Achilles tendon just under 5 minutes into his first start with the New York Jets.
The former Cal and Packers QB and one of the top signal callers in NFL history has been fighting to make it back to the field, though. He was seen warming up before Monday night’s matchup between the Jets and LA Chargers.

That wasn’t the only interesting update. Following the game, Rodgers spoke with Chargers safety Derwin James, who asked him “when you coming back?”
Rodgers replied, “give me a few weeks.”

It’s Week 10 in the NFL. For Rodgers to return from an Achilles injury this season, especially at his age, would be monumental.
It’s also important to note that even if he were to return (and history is not on Rodgers’ side) the Jets could be struggling to stay in playoff contention. New York is 4-4 and would not be in the playoffs if the season ended today.
We’ll see.
