Former Arizona running back Jonah Coleman is transferring to Washington.

Coleman announced that decision late Saturday night. He will reunite with Jedd Fisch, who took the head coaching job at Washington earlier this month.

Here’s his announcement:

Coleman is also following former Arizona running backs coach Scottie Graham to Washington. Graham was hired into that same role on Fisch’s staff after he took the Huskies’ head coaching job.

Coleman is coming off of an excellent season as Arizona’s top running back in 2023. He rushed for 871 yards and 5 touchdowns last season for the Wildcats. He also caught 25 passes for 283 yards and picked up another score through the air.

Coleman is set to be a big part of Washington’s offensive game plan next season. The Huskies are set to lose numerous starters on the offensive side of the ball from last year’s team that reached the national championship game.

Coleman was a 3-star recruit in the class of 2022. He will have 2 seasons of eligibility left with Washington.
