Arizona confirms return of Noah Fifita, Tetairoa McMillan and others for 2024 season
Arizona is getting some key players back for Brent Brennan’s first season with the Wildcats!
Saturday afternoon, Arizona dropped a hype video with brief comments from quarterback Noah Fifita and receiver Tetairoa McMillan. The message was simple enough: They are not going anywhere in spite of the departure of Jedd Fisch to Washington and the recent hiring of Brennan.
“Tucson, we’ve got unfinished business,” Fifita exclaimed.
“We’re running it back,” said McMillan.
The video was shown during Saturday’s basketball game between Arizona and UCLA. It led to a raucous round of applause and chants of “U of A” throughout the fans in attendance.
Star linebacker Jacob Manu and offensive lineman Jonah Savaiinaea are also featured in the video, giving Brennan some true building blocks heading into 2024.

Retaining the dynamic offensive duo is a big key for Brennan’s first season at Arizona. Fifita appeared in 12 games and made 9 starts at quarterback in a dramatic freshman season.
Fifita threw for over 2,800 yards and completed 72% of his passes for 25 touchdowns and 6 interceptions. He was named the Pac-12 Offensive Freshman of the Year for his contributions and delivered a pair of touchdowns in an Alamo Bowl win over Oklahoma.
McMillan delivered a big-time season at wide receiver, finishing as an All-Pac-12 Second Team performer while leading Arizona with 1,402 receiving yards. He also tied for the team lead with 90 catches and finished second with 10 touchdowns.
Manu was an All-Pac-12 First Team performer after leading the Wildcats with 116 tackles to go with 9.5 tackles for loss and 6.5 sacks. Savaiinaea is a two-year starter on the offensive line and All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention from the 2023 season.
