Arizona Board of Regents will have their second meeting this week to discuss university athletics as university leaders in the state consider future conference moves.

Arizona President Robert Robbins and Arizona State President Michael Crow are expected to make a presentation to the BoR at 6:05 p.m. PT on Thursday in executive session. Another item on the agenda is to consider “possible legal advice and discussion regarding university athletics.”

ASU and Arizona are reportedly being targeted by the Big 12 after the conference last week announced that Colorado would join. The schools would need approval from the BoR in order to leave the Pac-12. Utah is also reportedly in the mix to join the Big 12 as well.

There was also a report on Wednesday that the Big Ten is considering multiple Pac-12 programs.

If all 4 of those teams were added, it would bring the Big Ten to 20 programs. USC and UCLA are already set to join the Big Ten ahead of the 2024 college football season.
