Plas Johnson, a 3-star wide receiver out of Scottsdale, Arizona (Chaparral), has announced a commitment to play in the Pac-12.

Johnson announced on social media that he’s committed to Arizona State: “We in da valley,” he wrote. Johnson is ASU’s 5th in-state pledge and 13th overall in the 2024 class. He is the first player from coach Kenny Dillingham’s high school alma mater to commit to the Sun Devils. Johnson was recruited to the Sun Devils by Bryan Carrington and Brian Ward.

Johnson picked ASU over BYU and Kansas State amid 14 offers. He officially visited ASU 2 weeks ago and Kansas State last weekend.

Listed at 6-foot-1 and 165 pounds, Johnson is ranked as the No. 18 prospect in Arizona on the 247Sports Composite and the No. 138 wide receiver. A two-way player, Johnson could shift to defense at cornerback with the Sun Devils.
