Joe Lunardi is out with his latest Bracketology at ESPN and has 4 teams from the Pac-12 in the field, but the most notable current headline is Lunardi has Arizona State in the field.

The Sun Devils were rewarded for a buzzer beater win over Arizona on Saturday. Here’s how Lunardi describes it:

“It really is a game of inches — or, more accurately, seconds. Arizona State’s Desmond Cambridge Jr. hits a 60-foot buzzer-beater to shock Arizona — in Tucson, for the extra exclamation point — and suddenly the Sun Devils are the last team in the projected field instead of outside the cut line. The margins are indeed that thin in late February and into March, when fortunes turn in less than a second.”

Lunardi next week will update the bracket daily, or more, throughout Championship Week.

Elsewhere in the Pac-12, Lunardi has UCLA as a 2-seed, Arizona trending down at a 3-seed and USC trending up at a 10-seed.

This week, Arizona State plays UCLA, while Arizona plays USC both on Thursday, and on Saturday, Arizona plays UCLA and Arizona State meets USC.
